Stud partitions, dot-and-dab, ceiling boarding, and loft conversion boarding — fast and clean compared to traditional plastering. Compare up to 3 free quotes from vetted local tradespeople within 24 hours.
Plasterboarding — also called dry lining — is the fastest and most common method of creating smooth internal surfaces on walls and ceilings in modern construction. Plasterboard panels are fixed either by screwing to a timber or metal stud framework, or adhesively using the dot-and-dab method directly to masonry walls.
Once boards are in place, joints are taped and the whole surface is skimmed with a finish coat of plaster (or left tape-and-jointed for a painted finish). Plasterboarding is typically quicker and cheaper than traditional sand-and-cement plastering for new build or refurbishment work.
Whether you need a new stud partition wall, a loft conversion boarded out, or dot-and-dab on solid masonry walls, get free quotes from vetted local tradespeople through our service.

“Really straightforward. Described the rooms, entered my postcode and had calls from local plasterers within a couple of hours. Saved a significant amount compared to my first quote.”
“Had a whole house replaster after buying our Victorian terrace. The plasterer recommended through this site was brilliant — on time, tidy and the finish was excellent. No hesitation recommending.”
